Dear Phil
Thank you for reminding me of this. Am I right in assuming that you are the Phil whom we met as the bunch of South AFricans, Aussies and NZ's on the barge in Amsterdam? (second last day of the conference?)

Mary,
I'd also take a good look at Engestrom, Y., Miettinen, R., Punamaki, R-L
(Ed's). (1999) Perspectives on Activity Theory, New York:Cambridge
University Press for a list of articles that use AT as a framework, and
which also provide up-to-date theoretical perspectives.
