The University of California has a digital archive to which we can link
from xmca, and as a long terms solution for large data files, this seems
like the way to go. It is free, and approaches what appears as approaching
infinity with respect to storage space in size (it will done day seem tiny).
Bill Barowy has offered a temoporary patch which I believe he has already
made available.
Very stimulating discussion which has, as often happens, ramifies in many
directions. After I pay with 1000 institutional lashes for being away for
several days, I hope to join in again.
