sure,
but i thought i was writing more about the reading of the readers,
here,
i mean, i wasn't suggesting anyone read what i read, so much as i was
asking about the ways the participants here have been reading,
in terms of what has been written thus far,
and in terms of asking cultural-historical questions
about the writing here, as a site of 'reading' as well -
you know? there's the text that everyone reads to themselves,
then a summary that is posted, which everyone reads, again to themselves,
and then individuals write messages which become an alternate
site of reading,
and writing,
about the 'authorized' reading - so, i was asking about this alternate
site of writing/reading, as a
question of cultural and historical aspects of discussion/activity.
situating the questions differently, i reckon -
i'd be glad to provide summaries of texts, but would rather not burden the
authorized readings anymore than they are.
