I also got a lot out of the Ilyenkov disucssion and have downloaded
Peter's paper.

And I also want to write in response to Peter's helpful note.

If my desire to see a wider representation of voices mis-judges the
situation, I am certain those more understanding than me will move
things in the proper direction.
