wow bill - thanks for that!! the definition is quite similar to the one in
my Dictionary of Philosophy, in terms of the history and so on,
and the noting of Marx & Engels making D. a "real science" - as opposed to
all those
fake sciences, heh heh...

of course, that just all just means we're still standing atop a hill o'
poop
from ancient xenophobic greeks, to me.
but then, i'm such a cantakerous bitch at times eh?
