The virtue of the English verb "might" is, I think, that it's one of the few
surviving subjunctive forms in English (that is it would always require
translation to the subjunctive in those language that use them) with a
conditional meaning as in the sentence > >You might have never known either
of the Martins."
The question of whether in fact you met on the internet was never raised.
But I wonder how much the internet facilitiates your coordination on that
BIG project.
