Let me tell you something: Although my address was wrote down right by
you, the postman put the pack in a neighbour's box (Can you believe
that?! "Those things"... as we say here, in Brazil).
But she took me the pack a few times ago and I have just read your
PARENT INVOLVEMENT.... And I like it very much.
Well:
I recently read an article of Julia Formosinho (Phd from
Portugal/University of Minho)on High Scope, and you refers to that
curriculum proposal in your article.
According to Formosinho, High Scope is too much based on Piagetian
conception of cognitive development - although she refers to some
Vygotsky's ideas in defense of it.
Would you please tell me a few words about your personal evaluation of
High Scope proposal? Despite, of course, the discussion you mention in
your article - that held in Seatle/75, when you analise critically some
features of parents as active in school governance.
I'll be glad and thankful.
Ricardo.
