Please forgive this unsolicited e-mail. I'm writing to invite you to
read the first, complimentary issue of the NODE Learning Technologies
Network's new publication. Learning Technologies Report
<http://node.on.ca/ltreport/> is designed to examine the emerging
technologies which are radically reshaping the face of post-secondary
education and training.

LTReport is a quarterly electronic publication available through
individual subscription or by site license. Each issue will be devoted to
a thorough analysis of one topic of current and critical interest in the
field of learning technologies. LTReport identifies the stakeholders,
interviews the leaders, examines the issues, and analyses the consequences
to provide a platform for organizational decision-making. Each issue is
based on extensive interviews and original sources as well as analysis of
established policy and published reports.

The first issue, available free of charge at http://node.on.ca/ltreport/,
examines mobile computing initiatives at North American colleges and
universities. Read LTReport to discover why are institutions requiring,
and in some cases providing, laptop computers for their students.
LTReport also provides a look at a wireless laptop project, an interview
with Dr. Diana Oblinger of IBM, a snapshot of the state of laptop
computing across Canada and a discriminating list of resources and
readings.

LTReport will be of interest to senior administrators and planners in the
not-for-profit and profit sectors. Subscription rates and details will be
available shortly. If you would like to receive the rate card by e-mail,
please fill out the subscription information request form at
http://cirrus.node.on.ca/ltreport/subscribe/

LTReport is brought to you by the NODE Learning Technology Network
<http://node.on.ca>, a not-for-profit electronic network facilitating
information and resource-sharing, collaboration and research in the field
of learning technologies for post-secondary education. Our website
provides current, comprehensive information for learners and practitioners
engaged in technologically-mediated teaching and learning.
