I saw this ms on a forum I visit on Compuserve and couldn't think of any
reasonably accessible titles to recommend. 'Reasonable' here meaning the
student (or such I infer her to be) seems to be asking for materials
more in the vein of basic overviews and/or appraisals than in-depth
theoretical exposition. Any thoughts on what texts might help her 'get
started'? -Rolfe
