I don't usually jump in but being a classroom teacher/graduate student/parent
I say teach your child. Be involved, no, no. no your are not damaging her!
The classroom teacher will still be able to assess what she needs and find
direction, if not your daughter is in the wrong environment It's not learning
that they are doing, it's schooling, there is a difference. There is a need
for surveillance but here it looks a little different.If you lived in the
state of Idaho you would want to educate your child apart from the school
systems anyway. On the governors desk is a bill (said to pass) that will
allow guns in the schools. Any one over 18 can pack a weapon into the
building and under 18 guns can be kept in their cars. Yes Idaho ~~Margaret
