It has been a tough time for the San Diego area. While I didn't know =
Vanessa Gack very well, her tragic accident is only the latest in a =
string of such events down here. It is too easy to follow in the =
footsteps of Camus' _Etranger_. Rather than fall into that trap, I =
offer to you all something to hope for - however clumsy it might be =
expressed.
May we all find our own path to inner peace,

Before all else, the oceans bore all life.
All journeys start and end in that water.
