I'm professor of Theater-Education in State University of=20
Bahia-Uneb/Brasil.
In this moment I study to get the master degree in University of San=20
Paul-USP/Brasil, directed by PHd Maria L=FAcia de S. B. Pupo.
I'm developing an etnographic observation in a public state school of=20
S=E3o Paulo/Brazil. The research is called "Theater games in public=20
school". A group of children (age 7 to 11) from diferent levels of=20
alfabetization (first to forth series)was organized in order to study=20
how they interact mediated by theater language.
I'm trying an articulation between Viola Spolin's Theater teaching=20
methodological proposal and Vygotsky's approach to concepts constitution=20
process. The concepts elected to be focused are:
1) Daily concept of GAME;
2) Social concept of COOPERATION;
3) Spolin's theatrical concept of PHYSICALIZATION.
The work has been done since the begining of the academic year (March in=20
Brazil). All sessions are taped in audio-video. Tomorrow will be our=20
16th one.
