John's message, which began this thread, was actually
a response to my request for CURRENT and NEW literature
on EARLY LITERACY ACQUISITION.
I've sent a couple help! messages, seeking ref's for
that topic, but I know some xmca-ers were conferencing
at the AAAL and others may have been off for spring break.
So I'll try again - Can any of you refer me to interesting
new research/theory (not Reading Research Quarterly
articles or Reading Recovery materials, since my
student is already familiar with the standards).
