I'm working with a computer scientist and designer on a web page about
organizational learning. I'm trying to cross several domains and don't
understand (but will get the references you've mentioned).
Could scaffolding be similar to the icons, instructions and forms within
a web page? In situated cognition, is scaffolding the effort of the
instructor to make the activity authentic? Could scaffolding be the
designer's conscious efforts to create collaborative work spaces?
