This is along delayed message to Pat Zukow.
Part of my between semesters time is devoted to cleaning up my long kept
,messages where I have intended to comment, etc. Yours was among
these. I just wanted to tell you that I used some of your recent papers in
my Language Acquisition seminar I just finished, and they made a great
impact upon my students. I thought your analysis of Tomasello's work was
excellent, and I liked your examples in your message to xmca, as the
controversy between fine-tuned input and attention training, on the one
hand, and general non-differentiated exposure, on the other, has been a
hard one to deal with for me. Even though I know which side I am on.
Please send me your latest, and I wish you and your husband a great New
year,
Vera
