December 1997 issue of Wired magazine, by contributing editor Jon Katz.

civic-minded, and radically committed to change."
"The Internet is not a breeding ground for apathy, disconnection, and
fragmentation. Instead, the online world is home to some of the most
participatory citizens we are ever likely to have."
