I reviewed and analysed the Philosophy for Children curriculum materials a
few years ago,
as well as the authoring work which constitutes the Phil. for Children
ideological alignment with Aristolean logic, syllogisms, etc.;

and I found it all to be quite... um, well,

problematic in its representations of girls and agency(or lack thereof) in their
contexts of "thinking" critically alongisde the obvious hero of
the philosophical narratives, that Harry boy, who muses through primary school
like a psuedo-Socrates, including the "this-is-not-a-question" practice of
posing the questions to which Harry (Socrates) already knows the answer...

ah. I babble! Anyhow, I'd be very interested
in yr readings and yr interests in this curriculum.
