Pedagogy of Development: Educational Effects and Outcomes
The conference will take place in Krasnoyarsk (Russia): April 23-25, 1998.
The aim of the conference is to discuss the effects of new curricular and syllabi based on developmental approach.
Educators, practical psychologists, social workers, specialists in the field of anthropology, medicine, physiology and education management are invited to participate and present their papers.
Themes to be covered:
* Starting and finishing new stages of education;
* Skills development versus knowledge acquisition;
* Age dynamics and educational effects;
* Evaluation of educational effects;
* Educational effects: psychological, anthropological, sociological perspectives;
* Educational effects in different educational environments and contexts;
* Meaningful educational effects of developmental teaching;
* Planning and managing based on the research of educational effects;
* Assessment and educational effects.
The conference will include plenary sessions, topic-specific symposia and round-table discussions.
International presenters are welcome to participate. Language of the conference is Russian. Translation will be provided.
