on the office door is absent (Ms. Hodges to see DOCTOR so-and-so)... here,
on xmca,
I have no idea who is where in their academic pursuit, and I *like* it.
grad-only lists may be a form of marginalization which silences, rather
than opens, opportunity,
for discussion/debates/inquiries/rants pertaining to our interests.
