between Leontiev's AT and LS Vygotsky's views (and whether they are
substantive or the result of local terror) can be found in V.P. Zinchenko's
article in the Wertsch et al volume, Sociocultural Studies of Mind.CUP.
1995. Other articles inthat volume are also relevant. If you get it
all straight, please explain it to me! :-)
My view is that there are many branches on the cultural psychology
tree of which the version presented in Cultural Psychology is only
one. That view is made explicit in several places in the text.... I
think.
