Greetings. Am now printing out the text to read with care. You
articulated for me a concern I have always had with critical theorists
and with many feminists. In addition, they seem to be conducting an
erudite conversation that rarely reaches the ground and almost never
appears to be taking into account audiences outside the academy -- and
a fairly narrow range of the academy, at that.
I am intrigued by your question re HACMS -- don't know, exactly how one
would proceed. Do critical theorists have a research method? Given
the data we have, and the commitment we have to the quality of these
three teachers, it is hard for me to see how one could enter the data.
However, I would certainly be interested in pursuing the conversation.
