Arne, I can't imagine how a cultural-historical psychology could ignore
religion. Among academics, I find a remarkable intolerance for
fundamentalist Christians--I don't have the archives handy, but they've
taken yet another beating in the whole language/phonics debate recently held
on xmca. I'm quite sure I'll get castigated for making this
observation--yet, from living among them, I've begun to respect their
reasons for holding their beliefs, even if I don't share them.
