Zizek's psychoanalytic semiotics of desire/affect sounds like
a representative of an interesting, but not so easily accessible,
discursive formation.

The mention of jouissance reminded me, aside, of Roland Barthes,
who also seemed to be reaching towards the connections of affect,
topological meaning, and infrasemiotic aspects of activity/experience,
particularly in such oddly fascinating observations as 'The Grain of
the Voice', which is very brief, and which I highly recommend to
those who may have an interest in these issues.
