Human Development with Emphasis on Science Education
The Graduate School of Education, University of California, Berkeley,
seeks applicants for a tenured position (associate or full professor
level) in human development and science education, with an emphasis on
younger students, to begin circa July 1996. The successful candidate
will join a faculty group in the School of Education that merges
developmental perspectives with cognitive science advances in studying
cognition and learning in science. Duties will include research and
teaching in graduate, undergraduate, and teacher preparation programs.
Applicants should have a doctoral degree in development, cognition, or
related fields and demonstrated excellence in research and teaching
commensurate with the appointment rank.
