I'm intrigued by the title of your talk for the Chicago vygotsky
centennial..."Telos in Literacy Studies..." (?)
Telos is associated in my mind with the Hegelian "marxists" and has
something to do with the idea of teleology in history, or the inevitibility
of certain results, or the potential of certain inevitibilities as best I
can understand them...it also gets associated with determinism
My question is...could you give a brief preview of your topic, maybe the
big ideas?
