As Greg mentions, the first chapter of The Science of Qualitative Research is indeed titled "What Is Science?” Since that was the title of this thread I’m attaching a copy (from the corrected proofs, not the final pdf). Normally the listserv removes the attachments from my messages, so let’s see…
