Has anyone mentioned the whole tradition of PLAR — Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition?
https://www.georgebrown.ca/plar/

At its best, the PLAR approach is theory-first; the “learner” explores and uses learning theory to discover and then present his or her learning. At its worst, it is a way to credentialize experience and sell credentials.
Did this come up in the recent discussion?
Thanks —H
