Michael, I think this is quite wrong.
The idea of writing "Thinking and Speech" was to solve one problem, a 
problem which had eluded science for centuries, and thereby establish an 
exemplar as to how to tackle problems of psychology, *not* as a 
intellecualist reductionism.
