[Xmca-l] Reading for Novices

Hello all,


I have a friend who has a background in anthropology and she is interested in reading Vygotsky. With this in mind, which introductory texts do you think would be best to cut one's teeth on our patron genius?


Also how about readings that describe sociocultural theory (rather than actual Vygotsky texts)?


It seems a good combo of both may provide a nice context.
