There is a chapter  in Kozulin, A. (1999). *Vygotsky's psychology: A
biography of ideas*. Cambridge, Mass: Harvard University Press.
titled Mind in Trouble (pp.195-238) which I found to be quite helpful in
understanding LSV on "disability". Alex Kozulin himself
has worked with this the disabled community in Israel for quite some time.
