Re: [xmca] Vygotsky's Works in Russian

Great news, congrats to the hosts of the marxists.org web-site and to all interested!

Just two comments:

1. "Ape, primitive, child" came out in 1930, indeed, but the text that is available on the site was actually published in 1993.

2. Unlike it is indicated on the web-site, Vygotsky authored  chapters on "ape" and "primitive", i.e. chapters 1 & 2.
Then, Luria wrote what was arguably an experimental chapter on the "child", chapter 3.

Thanks to Nikolai Veresov, the Marxists Internet Archive now has a Russian-language Vygotsky Archive:

  http://www.marxists.org/russkij/vygotsky/index.htm

including "The behaviour of Ape, Child and Primitive Man," The original 1934 edition of "Thinking and Speech," and the 6 Volumes of the Russian-language Collected Works.
