Hi Jose David,

I also recommend Jim Lantolf's work. Jim was my mentor when I was an
undergraduate student and he introduced me to Vygotsky's work. In addition
to the reference Andy cites, Jim has two other edited books on second
language learning and teaching with a sociocultural perspective, plus a
host of articles on the topic. Other edited books of his you may find

Lantolf, J. P. (Ed.)(2000). Sociocultural theory and second language
learning.Oxford:Oxford University Press.

Lantolf, J. P., & Appel, G. (Eds.) (1994). Vygotskian approaches to second
language research. Norwood NJ: Ablex.
