Dear Cathrene (that's an interesting use of 'r' right there):
   
  Thanks for that: we're going to start teaching English literacy to Korean third graders, who are used to a much more rational spelling system, and we need all the teach-niques we can get.
   
  (ONION with PEANUT BUTTER? Heaven forfend.... No wonder the Brits drop their post-vocalic 'r'!)
