The Creighton University Psychology Department invites applications for
a tenure-track, assistant professor position in developmental psychology
beginning in Fall, 2006. Areas of teaching and research interest can
include any area of developmental psychology. The successful candidate
will be expected to teach three courses per semester at the
undergraduate level. Preference will be given to applicants who have a
demonstrated interest in teaching Research Methods-Statistics and
Introduction to Psychology. Other duties will include academic
advising, developing an active research program, and supervising
undergraduate research/honors projects. Job requirements include
completion of Ph.D. by August 2006, demonstrated excellence in teaching,
and an active research program in developmental psychology.
Submit letter of application, curriculum vitae, three letters of
reference, teaching evaluations, and transcripts from all institutions
attended to: Matthew T. Huss, Ph.D., Department of Psychology, Creighton
University, Omaha, NE 68178.
Only completed files, sent as hard copies, will be considered. Review
of these applications will begin on January 1, 2006 and continue until
the position is filled pending final administrative approval for the
position.
