Dear Friends,
It is with such incredible sadness to tell you that Joachim Lompscher has died. He was a real friend of Activity Theory, a person who supported Vygotsky for so long, during many years within East Germany, and he dedicated his retirement to the publication of Russian voices, and many other projects. He studied in Russia, and truly understood Russian thinking, especially being married to a Russian. He was a great support of Russian psychology in Germany. Joachim was truly one of the great men in this tradition. He will be so missed.
