Subject: Re: Reflection and change in a CHAT/Cultural Psychology paradigm

pretty interesting for a friday evening, bb.

Read this paragraph through and see if/how the meaning changes if you
replace
collaborative reflection with the word, culture.

Collaborative reflection, that is, thinking together with other people, is a
change in the division of labor as well -- and one might expect a change in
discourse among those people who are thinking together, because discourse
makes possible collaborative ideation, through the exchange of utterances.

[Carol Macdonald] Gee, I really like this paragraph, and I would like to
quote it-but I really think you lose explanatory power if you shift this
into the broader concept.
Thanks Mike

Very interesting implications if the substitution works, or not. I would be curious about what people think. mike
