Ms Karen Chau of RO has informed us that the Consulate General of the United
States of America is going to launch an "all-discipline" award for a Fulbright
Lectureship in 2005-06 to attract US scholars from various disciplines in
social science, humanities and business. Colleagues know of US scholars who
are interested in teaching/researching at CityU may encourage them to apply to
the "all-discipline" award of the Hong Kong program in USA. The award includes
a stipend and international travel for the Fulbright lecturer, while the
department has to contribute free accommodation and an office for the stay.

A memo from Ms Karen Chau of 1.12.03 inviting colleagues' participation in
this programme is posted on the Staff Notice Board for your detailed
information.
