I, too, spent time thinking about MLK yesterday, David.
I missed the gathering in Washington because I arrived back in this
country from a year in the USSR just as it was taking place, so I
only heard it on the radio, crossing this vast country, thinking
about justice here and in the countries I had passed through on my
way home.
In yesterday's paper there was a story indicating that 1/10 school teachers
are non-Anglo.
Justice deferred..... and in so many spheres, receding.
