some peripherical comments on Well's paper

Personally, after reading the paper, I was invaded by a feeling of curiosity on who are the students and the teacher and where is the schooll - what did had been teaching to students through the proposal of activity put to them... a more visible "contextualization" of the actions focused by the participant observation conducted by GWeels.

I'd also like to "hear" the girls talking and reflecting about their interactions (through a stimullated recall for example). And to "see" how and what kind of pedagogical intervention were done by the teacher along the girls in-class interactions...

I confess I miss the flux of their conversation with so many code marks in the transcription... Why not present the verbal and non-verbal interactions of the girls as in a drama script fashion? It would look like more attractive... And, anyway, that is a qualitative approach so - in my oppinion - any effort to make it close to a quantitative or "scientific" one does not sound me really usefull.

I think we may "come out" with our interpretative view on POs...
