Re: Two examples of emergence

Dear Keith,
I read the conclusion over the week-end (I had some difficulty in
printing things out as I am not at home, and am just borrowing a
computer a few minutes at a time.) The section is interesting and the
intro, describing the process, seems to work. My own segments seem ok,
except the last sentence on page 23, I think I had asked you once
before to add an ending to it. (Unfortunately it is not in front of me,
but I think it is obvious.) Would you just completed it for me, thanks.
I think the ending is a little less convincing. I am not sure that you
want to list the unanswered questions, they leave the text in a
somewhat unfinished mode. My preference would be to add a few
concluding sentences instead, continuing on the theme of the
relationship between creativity and development. I dont think much is
needed; the strong emphasis on systems approaches, emergence,
transformation and synthesis in the individual contributions may work.
And perhaps the issue, is creativity truly a marginal field, or
is it growing as a disciplinary and interdisciplinary domain?
I may not be able to check e-mail late today, but I will do so early
tomorrow morning US time.
Warm regards, Vera
