viruses

Seems like the last thing people on this list need to get irritated with
is false alarms on viruses. Perhaps some of the good advice about hoaxes
and how to avoid being taken in could be put way up on the web page, although
I assume most would not read them.

I waste a lot of time, personally, working through very old fashioned unix
mail, but one thing it does help with is staying under the virus radar screen
most of the time. Still, I fell for the false alarm about removing a file
laying dormant in my operating system, but luckily could repare it quickly
before I did myself any harm.
