i am sorry about the deluge of boring postings.

here's an example of institutional activity boluxing up the system.
my school district is changing email systems and automatically decided
(can an institution decide?) to send out those announcements.

this change gives the school district local control of the email system
and i expect that soon i will be expected to sign some kind of agreement
promising not to use it for other than official school district sanctioned
activity.

thankfully, my email activity is also connected to my role as an alumnus
(still feels strange, that!) of the university, so i am NOT CHANGING my
email address, just getting another one.
i hope.
i also hope that i have corrected the problem and stopped those automatic
postings.
i am crossing my fingers as i click the send button.

(BTW, Eva, what's my count now? she asked slyly.)

Words are the thunders of the mind.
Words are the refinement of the flesh.
Words are the responses to the thousand curvaceous moments---
     we just manage it---
sweet and electric, words flow from the brain
and out the gate of the mouth.

We make books of them, out of hesitations and grammar.
We are slow, and choosy.
This is the world.
