in Moscow. Email last heard from was tishkov who-is-at ethno.msk.su. That su shows
how long it has been since I paid attention, but the ethno.msk might work
or some search of Russian Academy of Sciences web page.
Valerie is an historian who worked in Magadan in the '60's and has had a LOT
to do with indigenous peoples of the former USSR in the interim.
