one per issue

Jay-- I have also thought of the one-per-issue solution. How to be
inclusionary is the question. Who chooses the one? (And in this case
I was wrong, there were two, as Paul pointed out, only one of which
really got attended to.

You are absolutely correct that we cannot make any specific thing happen
on xmca. But can we make lots of things possible and not exclude things
that some part of whoever "we" is think worthwhile? (That is not a
rhetorical question either-- I didn't mean to imply that you were not
interested in answers, I was responding to some sort of genre feel from
the long sequence.).

Hell, we can't even get rid of the gremlins! Nate's member id has his
old address on it, not his new one, for example.

Enough. time to vacuum the house.
