Phillip,

What I wrote was the first conclusion I was conducted to, by the current
discussion on the issue.

I do not have any sistematic data collected - on how this two concepts
interact one another, in a formal or informal education context.

But, despite the triadic structure that caracterizes a sign, it seems
relevant - in my oppinion - to consider if it is "used to" reffers a
concrete/everyday or a social/scientific concept/objetc, and the context
within it has been "in use" also.

Maybe MONEY can be understood as an hybrid concept, with a concrete feature
and an abstract or social one. If it is so, even in this case, it is not
difficult to accept its social/scientific aspect is (re)dimenssionated by
the concept of VALUE, specially since a materialistic dialetical or a
historical materialistic approach of the last one.
