actually, i like it! hey! there's a lot in common -
both professions are dominated by women
both professions are problematized by male politicians for right-wing
moralists
one on one contact provides the best results
both professions work in isolated single rooms from one another
both professions are controlled by male hierarchy
with both professions the tax payer wants to get off as cheaply as
possible
for both professions, it's the worker that is problematized rather than
the social/economic contexts within which they practice
the hours are long and the pay not that great
everyone has practiced the activities in one way or another so they they
they know what it really entails
they are both physically and emotionally demanding
even when you're licensed and have passed a physical no one thinks very
highly of you
so, Bill, the comparison i don't find offensive at all.
