Hi Alfred--

First, if you keep this up, everyone will start asking you to please
make more of your work available in English! (Good luck everyone-- I
havn't had much luck!).

Second, what about elective affinities? Wasn't this an idea proposed by
Goethe in relation to developmental phenomena? Have you written about
this?
