Paul,

If you are a (shudder) Microsoft user, you can use 'paint' to create and
annotate the triangles, then insert the .bmp file into your Word document.
The 'paint' utility is bare bones, but it is bundled in Windows '95 and it
will do triangles allowing for text annotation. If you want more serious
graphics capabilities, you might consider a low cost package such as Paint
Shop Pro for under $100.
