Greetings to all xmca-ers. I was a participant in this list up until late
1997 when I took a break but have re-joined because of my new job. I'm now in
the Institute of Labor and Industrial Relations at the University of Illinois
where I'm doing labor education among union members. I have the opportunity to
engage the sociocultural perspective in the understanding of a site which is
intensively examined from the perspective of organizational psychology --
pretty unsatisfactory as far as I'm concerned.
Specifically, can someone suggest some references on the study of the cultures
of work -- things that have been written, for example, since Engestrom's
volume on Cognition and Work?
