Has anyone on the list read C.M. Kornbluth/Fred Pohl's Sci-fi novel "The
Space Merchants" in which the results of super-merged megabusinesses take
over the world and run it as a commercial concession? People used to
wonder if Orwell or Huxley had the right anti-Utopia. Maybe neither of
them did.
